Inch by Inch, you can do it.
I can help.
At different points in life, we may find ourselves carrying more than we know how to handle—stress, disconnection, loss, or questions we can’t quite name. This is a space to slow down, reflect, and be heard. With compassion and care, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences and move toward healing in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether you’re navigating things on your own or within a relationship, you are welcome here.

ABOUT INCH BY INCH
MY EXPERIENCE
TREATMENT APPROACH
With over two decades of experience in the mental health field, I’ve worked in both clinical and leadership roles. Since 2005, I’ve helped individuals navigate life’s challenges—from acute crises to long-term healing. For 14 years, I directed mental health services at a major hospital in Baltimore City, and over the past four years, I’ve provided private therapy to adults, couples, and adolescents. My approach is rooted in partnership, compassion, and a commitment to helping clients move toward meaningful change.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN SESSION
Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to your pace. In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you in and what you hope to get out of therapy. Over time, we’ll work together to explore patterns, identify values, and build tools that support real-life change. Sessions are conversational, respectful, and guided by your goals — whether you're navigating a specific challenge or working toward long-term growth. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin — just a willingness to show up.
I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a values-driven approach that helps clients align their thoughts, behaviors, and goals with what matters most to them. ACT teaches six core processes that can be applied independently, empowering individuals to build psychological flexibility and take purposeful steps toward a more fulfilling life.
SPECIALTIES
I offer individual and couples therapy for adults and adolescents. My areas of focus include relationship challenges, stress, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and addiction. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and have experience working with high-profile individuals and executives, always prioritizing discretion and confidentiality.
EDUCATION
I earned my degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and have been licensed since 2005. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker—Certified (LCSW-C) in Maryland and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Six Core Processes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
3. Being Present - Coming into contact with the present moment as a way to ground ourselves to what is happening now. It is a way to enrich our experiences, and serves as a reminder as to why we are thinking, saying and doing in the present moment.

4. Self As Context - Being able to see how we think, feel, and act without judgement. It is the "observing self" as if we were a drone able able to see ourselves from above. The point is to observe and not react so that we may make informed decisions conducive to our values.

5. Values - It is what you say that matters, what is most important, that dictate your Thoughts, Words, and Actions.

6. Committed Action - Aligning your Words, Thoughts, and Actions in a way that supports what you say is important. Living in a way that is guided by your values helps to secure a fulfilling and satisfying way of life.

1. Acceptance - Letting go of the struggle to not feel unpleasant thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences. It is leaving room to acknowledge unpleasant experiences instead of struggling to avoid or make them go away. It is in the struggle that suffering lives, often making allowing us to feel worse.

2. Cognitive Diffusion - Learning what your relationship is to a particular thought or thoughts as opposed to trying to change your thought or thoughts. Everyone has conducive and detrimental thoughts in accordance to what we value. Our relationship with our thoughts can change our experiences, but the individual remains unchanged.
